Every container runs inside its own lightweight virtual machine with its own kernel, instead of sharing one kernel with other customers.
Containers start with every Linux capability removed, and only the few they need to boot are added back. Escalating to root through setuid binaries is blocked, and memory and CPU limits stop one app from starving the others.

Every database starts with a long random password you can rotate in one click, and on Postgres, MySQL and MongoDB you can give each app its own user instead of sharing the admin login. An IP allowlist blocks everyone else at the firewall, and the dashboard’s query console is read-only.
